Does this sound familiar?
Cleanup and catch-up exists for the exact moment the pile gets ahead of you:
The transactions stopped getting entered months ago.
Sales, expenses, contractor payments: the money moved, but it never made it into QuickBooks Online.
Your accountant asked an uncomfortable question.
Are the accounts reconciled? If the honest answer is a shrug, a cleanup gets you a straight answer before tax season asks louder.
A deadline is closer than your books are current.
Filing dates do not move. Catching up in QuickBooks Online now means fewer surprises when the return is due.
You keep meaning to open the file. You do not.
Avoiding your own books is the expensive option. A scoped cleanup turns a months-long backlog into a finished project.
The service
What a cleanup and catch-up covers
Every project is scoped to your file first, so you know exactly what you are paying for. The work itself:
QuickBooks Online catch-up
Months of missing entries entered and corrected so your file is current through an agreed end date.
Transaction categorization
Income and expenses sorted into the right categories, so your reports finally mean what they say.
Account reconciliation
Bank, credit card, and loan accounts reconciled so your balances match the real world.
Tax-ready handoff
A wrap-up summary with remaining follow-up items identified, ready for you or your CPA at tax time.
Cleanup is a one-time project completed within an agreed scope. You approve that scope by email before any work starts.

How behind are you?
Three quick questions. At the end you get a plain-English summary and a quote request drafted for your email app. Nothing is stored on this page: your answers only go into your own email.
Prefer a deeper check? The full QuickBooks file health quiz scores seven areas in about two minutes.
Here is your starting point.
Your draft email:
This is not an automated price: your quote depends on the state of the file, and it arrives by email after Stacie reviews the details. Clicking the button opens your email app with everything filled in.
Pricing
Straightforward pricing, before you ask
These are the starting prices from the main services page. Your quote depends on how much catch-up the file needs, and you approve it by email before work begins.

Timing
Year-end and 1099 season reward an early start
The calendar is the one thing a cleanup cannot negotiate with:
- Contractor 1099s are due January 31. Accurate forms come from clean, reconciled books, not from a January scramble.
- Year-end close is simpler on current books. When the year's transactions are already in and categorized, closing the year is admin, not archaeology.
- Extensions extend the filing, not the bookkeeping. An extended return still needs a finished, reconciled file behind it.
A cleanup started now finishes with room to spare. One started in January races the clock. The work is identical: the stress is not.
